In 2023, I was the recipient of the Canada Council of the Art’s Prix de Rome in Architecture for Emerging Practitioners award. This prize funded 2 research trips to Japan, where I was able to revisit research sites from my M.Arch thesis, re-connect with and build new community relationships, and document land-based processes throughout different seasons in Japan.
